Webinar/Video on Nutrient Expert: A tool for making 4R fertilizer recommendations to the smallholder farmers of South Asia

The staff of IPNI South Asia Program presents a webinar on Nutrient Expert, a fertilizer decision support software developed for crop advisors, industry agronomists and extension staff for providing individual farmer specific fertilizer recommendations. In this video, the need for developing Nutrient Expert, it's utility under South Asian situation, and the scientific principles involved in the development of the software were thoroughly discussed. Attempts were made to illustrate the use of Nutrient Expert through live demonstration of the software. With the use of Nutrient Expert based fertilizer recommendations, we hope that farmers implement 4R's of Nutrient Stewardship and get benefitted with higher crop yields and improved farm profits.
